More Information About Prosperity Consciousness

Getting Started
Prosperity Consciousness is a state of mind. It is a way of thinking associated with having it all.

It is a mindset which says that opening one's mind to the financial opportunities in the world, and by living a life and having a perspective that welcomes financial resources will bring financial wealth into one's life.

The great texts in this Prosperity Consciousness eBook were written by different people, and at different times, yet they all carry a similar message. The fact that this consciousness is universal and on-going is what makes it resonate so well with so many people.

Basic Principles
Most of the principles behind Prosperity Consciousness are not mystical and are straight forward concepts that are sensible ways to growing your own wealth.

Each of the books includes discussion on the following principles: Thought, Desire, Belief/Faith, Gratitude, Creativity, Planning, and Action.

Thought, all books discuss the need to think about riches. This is the starting point, and all results in life are through thought. Even something so simple as getting something to eat requires the thought that one is hungry. Thoughts are things and it is the only power which can produce tangible riches.

Desire, once one thinks about wealth and prosperity, they must also desire it. It is pretty straightforward to consider that if one does not desire something it is likely that that thing will not come into their consciousness.

Belief and faith are both required for any endeavor. Even for something as that meal that one desires, one must believe it is possible and have faith that they can get the food they want. For most people, this is not too much of a stretch of imagination. However, for something large, like a big house or a thriving business, there is going to be some lag time between when one first desires something and when it comes about. As a result, they must believe that what they want is coming and have faith that it will come to them. This is not much different from the basis of most religions.

Gratitude, one must experience the thankfulness of what they do have. There seems to be a universal principle that says that as we experience gratitude for things, we get more of them. Something in our subconscious is able to accept ones current situation fully when it is taken with gratitude. Sometimes it can be difficult, but there is always something to be thankful for, even if it is the lesson that we are learning at any given time.

Creativity, any entrepreneur will tell you of the need for creativity. The essence of the word is “To Create” which is exactly what one does when they are creative. The painter creates paintings, the author writes, the craftsman creates hand made goods. One is also being creative when they must come up with different ideas to solve problems and handle situations.

Planning, anything of substantial effort is going to require some planning. Sometimes it is as simple as planning a project or ones workday. Other times it is planning out months or years or even decades into the future of how a large project will come to fruition,

Action, is where things happen. It is good to have desire, to believe something will come about, to experience gratitude for what one has and to use creativity and planning into the future. However, Action is All. Without the actual “doing” nothing will come about. All the action is not necessarily by one person. With large projects, action might be carried out by many people. The person overseeing it is usually the visionary, but there can be people who oversee other people. Without Action there is nothing.

These are the basic principles. Each author has a different way of presenting them, and there are other ideas inter-mixed as well. Let’s take a look at each book, and learn a little bit about each one as we continue our study of Prosperity Consciousness.

About Science of Getting Rich
“The Science of Getting Rich” was written by the American Wallace D. Wattles and published in 1910. The book is divided into 17 short, straight-to-the-point chapters that explain how to overcome mental barriers, and how creation, not competition, is the hidden key to wealth attraction.

The mental technique that he calls "Thinking in a Certain Way," is intended to establish a state of positivity and self-affirmation. The contents, with chapter titles like "How to Use the Will" and "Further Use of the Will" advance the concept of the "Certain Way."

The book has been available for more than 100 years, and is still going strong. The ideas expressed sometimes revolve more around a metaphysical “way of thinking” and are all an excellent foundation to building ones Prosperity Consciousness foundation.

About Think & Grow Rich

“Think & Grow Rich” was written by Napoleon Hill and inspired by suggestions from the Scottish-American billionaire Andrew Carnegie (for which Carnegie Hall in New York was named after) and was first published in 1937. It has sold over 30 million copies over 70 years.

Napoleon Hill spent 20 years researching the book, speaking to those people of great achievement to find out what they did that set them apart. The key ideas Napoleon Hill distilled in this book, including desire, faith, imagination, organized planning, and persistence are timeless ideas related to making wealth.

Although some of the references to people and events are outdated, the principles live on today and are timeless.

About The Master Key System
“The Master Key System” is a book written by Charles F. Haanel that was originally published as a correspondence course in 1912. Though originally a 24 week correspondence course (hence section titles are unnamed and are referred to by Part number), it was published in book form in 1916.

“The Master Key System” has gained popularity in recent years, in no small part from its influence on the film The Secret, but also in part from a number of other rumors.

The two most prominent rumors are that it was the source of Bill Gates' inspiration and success behind Microsoft, and that the book was banned by the Church. It states that Gates discovered the book as a student at Harvard. He was so inspired he dropped out and went on to found Microsoft. Several sources refer to this story, however there remains no verified reference that this is anything but a rumor.
Using Affirmations

Affirmations refer to the practice of Positive thinking - fostering "a positive mental attitude supported by affirmations will achieve success in anything." All of which the books in Prosperity Consciousness discuss.

An affirmation is a carefully formatted statement that should be repeated to ones self and written down frequently. For an affirmation to be effective, it needs to be present tense, positive, personal and specific.

The Affirmations section of the App provides hundreds of Affirmations that you can use for yourself to build your Prosperity Consciousness. The ideas is that by writing these Prosperity Consciousness affirmations and putting them in this app, you will always have positive thoughts to fill your mind with.

Review the affirmations regularly. Whenever (and especially) you are not feeling prosperous, review these affirmations over and over again, until you change your state of mind. You will find your thoughts changing followed by your overall wealth and prosperity conditions changing.
